Anonymous: "how did you lose weight so fast? was it healthy or ED?"

The healthy way - watching my calorie intake and increasing my physical activity. If you want specifics you can read other asks I’ve answered (:

Anonymous: "I am 18 years old and I have never been kissed. Even if my crush somehow told me he liked me I would reject him. I don't know why."

I honestly don’t think that there is anything wrong with that. I think first kisses tend to be made out like they are a big deal but they really don’t have to be. I am sure I am not the only person whose first wasn’t fantastic. If you don’t want to kiss anyone then don’t. Wait until you know you are ready.

lazy-sunday: "I've been trying to find someone who can help me figure out how I can stop my sweet tooth craving because it is the biggest thing holding me back from losing weight. You've lost 55 lbs, so I was wondering if maybe you had any tips. Congratulations btw :)"

I may not be the best person to answer this because I am more of a savoury snacker buttt I guess my best advice is to opt for healthier alternatives like fruit, low fat flavoured yoghurt (these are my favourite, I’m sure they will have a similar option in the US) or low cal dessert recipes like these. Oh and you could even try brands like skinnycow! And if you want a slice of cake every now and then? Go for it! Just try not to eat the whole thing =D

Thankyou :3

Any input from my other followers is welcome!

behindthesebrowneyes: "Hey, saw your before picture. How did you lose 50lbs in 4 months!? I started my journey in February and I've so far only lost 6lbs. HELP!"

I started to watch what I ate and exercised - No magical formula unfortunately! Every body is different, and everyone loses/gains weight differently. Besides, the number on the scale isn’t always telling you the full story. If you are eating healthy and exercising routinely you are doing your body some good! Maybe you might benefit from seeing a medical professional incase there is something happening under the hood? You really just have to find what works for you. Don’t be discouraged hun!

I’ve answered some other asks about my exercise and diet if you would like to read them too

Goodluck!!

Thankyou lovely anon <3 I’ll try! haha.

Anonymous: "BEAUTIFUL PERSON AWARD!!! Once you are given this award, you are supposed to paste it in the ask of 8 people who deserve it. If you break the chain nothing will happen, but it’s sweet to know someone thinks you’re beautiful inside and out. <3 <3"

Well isn’t this cute.

Please feel free to ask me anything, I answer them all privately unless I think the answer might be helpful to my other followers x

Anonymous: "Besides changing your eating habits, what have you been doing to lose weight? What kind of exercise, if any? Great job, you're such an inspiration!"

I wrote out a new plan yesterday -

Having a “schedule” has been vital to my weightloss. I try to stick to it as much as possible, working around school etc.
Eating at roughly the same times everyday stops me from eating because I am bored and helps me to remember to drink water.
When I first started I would just do my 3km walks twice a day - they usually took me around 40 minutes. I did that for about 3 weeks to get up some level of fitness before starting to do the 30DS everyday, gradually working up to including the yoga every second day. It might seem like a lot, but each workout is only about 20 minutes.

shari-chan: "81. Tea or coffee? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS THE QUESTION OF THE UNIVERSE~!"

To be honest I love both but I suppose I drink more tea.

Anonymous: "your progress is INCREDIBLE! I'm so so inspired right now to do what I gotta do. you goooo girl!"

Thankyou! I am so glad I could inspire you! Now go do it!! x

suckitthisismyblog: "hey i just wanted to know how tall are you? and what was your routine when you first started out?"

I’m about 5’5” and when I started I would do two 3km walks twice a day - one at about 7am and the other at about 4.30pm - 6 days a week. I didn’t go very fast but I still moved =D
I also tried (and I still do) to eat at roughly the same times everyday.

thinfile: "how did you manage to lose 51lbs in like 5 months? :O amazing!"

Haha thankyou! I really don’t know! I guess my body has just responded really well to my lifestyle change. I try to eat 1200-1800 calories a day, I don’t drink milk, I avoid breads, don’t use much oil when I cook and only use half teaspoon of sugar in my tea. I think the biggest thing is that because I genuinely enjoy cooking and eating healthy food I really don’t feel like I am on a diet or that I am restricting myself. Up until recently I would work out 3/4 times a day, 6 days a week. Nothing strenuous - 3km walks in the morning and evening, 30 Day Shred and Yoga Meltdown every second day. I have cut back to just walks because of an unrelated sickness but I am slowly getting back into it. I am assuming that as I continue the weight won’t come off as easy but right now I seem to be losing 1-2kg (2ish pounds) a week.

Anonymous: "when you were at your highest weight, what'd you eat in a typical day."

I would tend to skip breakfast, have 2 tuna sandwiches with white bread and mayo for lunch, a packet of shapes for a snack and a pan fried fish fillet with roast potatoes cooked in plenty of oil for dinner. I would drink coke or sugary iced tea instead of water. On the weekends I could almost eat an entire pizza.

Nowadays I have made small changes - I eat breakfast everyday, a cup of black coffee with a small bowl of muesli and fruit. I will have a wrap (I reccomend Rye Mountain Wraps, they are amazing!!) with tuna, falafel or a quorn chicken burger with salad and mustard for lunch. For dinner I will have grilled salmon with a variety of vegetables. And I still have pizza on the weekend! A healthier option from Dominos that is under 400 calories.

lion-for-a-mouth: "EMILY! How are you? My name is Kami :) I stumbled across your blog recently and I love it :D I'm wondering what methods are you using to lose weight? What sort of work outs and what foods are you eating?"

Hi there, I am great! I am glad you like my blog =) As for the methods I am using - I am just watching what I eat and trying to gradually up my fitness. I am pesceterian and try to eat as “cleanly” as possible - lots of fresh produce and avoiding anything that’s overly processed. I track calories, but not religiously so I probably eat anywhere between 1200 - 1800 a day. As for exercise, I do a moderately paced 3km walk twice a day and try to fit in a 20 min exercise several times a week like Jillian Michaels 30DS or Yoga Meltdown as well as just trying to be generally being more active - taking the stairs etc… Hope this helped =D
